Allergy Testing in San Antonio, Texas

San Antonio is one of the worst cities in the country for seasonal allergies. The area is notorious for cedar fever, caused by mountain cedar pollen that peaks in December and January. Oak, ragweed and grass pollens add to the load throughout spring and fall, and indoor dust mite exposure is a factor year-round. If you've been managing symptoms on your own without lasting relief, allergy testing is the first step toward a real diagnosis.

Our allergists use skin prick testing to identify your triggers, often during your very first visit. Same-day results mean you walk out with a confirmed diagnosis and a treatment direction, not just a guess.

Allergy Immunotherapy in San Antonio, Texas

If you're tired of treating symptoms year after year, immunotherapy addresses the problem at its source. Where antihistamines provide temporary relief, immunotherapy works by slowly desensitizing your immune system to your specific allergens. Over time, your body learns to stop overreacting. Many patients experience lasting improvement, and some maintain relief long after finishing treatment.

We offer 3 immunotherapy options at our Stone Oak, San Antonio clinic: allergy drops, allergy shots, and ExACT Immunoplasty℠. The underlying science is the same. The choice comes down to whether you'd rather come in on a schedule or handle doses at home.
