We accept a wide range of insurance plans, including Medicare. However, please understand that while we do accept insurance, many plans may not cover allergy testing until your deductible has been met. We advise connecting with your insurance provider to confirm coverage.

We don't typically recommend environmental allergy testing for children less than age 2, but this may vary on a case-by-case basis.

Typical food allergy testing can take up to 90 minutes. However, if you are doing an Oral Food Challenge, the appointment could take up to 4 hours.
We can do food allergy testing for children 4 months or older.
No - we test for allergic reactions, not just sensitivities. A true food allergy does not necessarily involve ingestion: exposure can be through contact with the skin or even breathing in particulates in the air.
Food intolerance or sensitivity does NOT include anaphylaxis, but can have some shared symptoms, typically nausea, vomiting, and delayed diarrhea. It is important to note that according to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, there are no at-home food sensitivity tests (also called IgG Food Panels), that have been scientifically validated. This means that while the company may claim that you are sensitive to certain foods, and that you may feel better if you remove these foods from your diet, there is no scientific evidence to support this.

Yes, allergies can cause sinus issues! Allergies cause inflammation and swelling in the mucous membranes lining your nasal passages and sinuses. Often, this swelling can lead to the drainage pathways in the sinuses - the paths that get rid of the mucus - to become blocked. Once blocked, the mucus stays trapped in your sinuses, and that stagnant mucus becomes the perfect breeding ground for bacteria - leading to a sinus infection. Persistent sinus issues can then become part of a vicious cycle, because as long as the allergen is present in your environment, the inflammation remains. The sinus lining never gets a chance to heal, meaning the drainage pathways stay closed.
Over 50% of people with allergies also have chronic sinusitis.1 This is why we strongly recommend those struggling with constant sinus issues to also get an allergy test, to rule out persistent inflammation due to environmental allergies.
