Waco, TX – January 13, 2016 – Allergy problems are kicking into high gear for central Texans this January. It’s cedar season so pollen is at its high and mold is on the rise as well.
"We're going into winter months at this time and cedar is always a huge allergen at this time, and then you also have mold," said Donnie Stone, a physician assistant with Texan Allergy and Sinus Center. "That's where we come into play and we can figure out what those allergies are and start treating them.”
Mold is causing a lot of problems because people are spending more time indoors due to the cold weather. Mold in homes and offices are having more exposure.
Texan Allergy & Sinus Center offers immunotherapy via shots and drops to fight allergies.
