George Makol, MD

Dr. George Makol was born in Massachusetts, but raised in Miami, Florida. He attended Duke University and Florida State University, and received his medical training at the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1974.

He finished a medical internship and an additional two year residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. He then traveled to Tucson to do a 2 year fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Makol is board certified in Internal Medicine and in Allergy and Immunology, and sees patients of all ages. He has served twice as the president of the Arizona Allergy & Asthma Society, and twice as president of the Tucson Allergy Society.
