Dr. Thompson is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist, Head & Neck Surgeon with over 25 years of experience practicing medicine in Texas. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A & M University in College Station and went on to receive his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Thompson completed his residency with the Department of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

Dr. Thompson is also experienced with nasal reconstructive procedures and rhinoplasty. He is very excited for the future of allergy treatment through sublingual immunotherapy, as more patients choose and stay consistent with the treatment
He is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Texas Medical Association, and Travis County Medical Society.
I’m so thankful for the staff! To start I’m a big chicken when it comes to getting an IV. I have rolling and spider veins. The anesthesiologist found my vein with no hesitation, An Young is the greatest, Dr. Thompson was amazing. He reduced my turbinates, I can breath so much better now and hopefully I won’t snore as much, lol! Hats 🎩 off to the entire team! They are all so incredibly nice, excellent team Aspire Allergy & Sinus!
If I could give them 6 stars, I would. This is a very nice office. Donna is absolutely great…a true professional. They always treat me like a rock star. Perfect customer service. Dr Thompson performed my surgery in their Plano clinic (May 5, 2022). They really have the best customer care I’ve seen. Dr. T called me after the surgery and that was huge. They’re just great caring people all around
Dr. Thompson was fantastic and even called me personally later that afternoon to see how I was doing. Not very many doctors take the time to do this.
