George Makol was born in Massachusetts, but raised in Miami, Florida. He attended Duke University and Florida State University, and received his medical training at the University of Miami School of Medicine.
He finished a medical internship and an additional two year residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
He then traveled to Tucson to do a 2 year fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center

From the time we walked in everyone was amazing. We went in for my 9 year old who was nervous and the staff was so nice and welcoming. Then to meet Dr Makol who was a sweetheart to her and asked her questions making her comfortable. He has extensive knowledge in this field to where he made a plan to get her better fast. They made it so easy for all of us. I definitely recommend
