Bruce G. Martin, DO

Bruce G. Martin is a board-certified allergist and earned his medical degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his internship at USAF Medical Center Scott, Scott AFB, Illinois and his residency at Brook Army Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas. He did his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at National Jewish Hospital, Denver Colorado. He returned to San Antonio, Texas where he served as Chief of Allergy and Immunology at Wilford Hall.

Dr. Martin acquired ownership of Southwest Allergy and Asthma Center in 1986, and in 2022 partnered with Aspire Allergy & Sinus.

As a fellow and practicing allergist, Dr. Martin has published multiple papers and maintains his membership with American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and San Antonio Allergy and Asthma Society of San Antonio. He has been recognized by Texas Monthly magazine as a "super doctor".

Dr. Martin enjoys reading, golf, basketball, and most often, designing and crafting birdhouses.
